Breastfeeding blew my mind. I remember looking at my daughter's newborn face early on and thinking, this is my mother's mother's great granddaughter! Becoming a mom gave me enormous respect for the role: the cosmically difficult task of bringing life into the world, the intense transformation motherhood means for a woman's body (mind and soul!) Becoming a mother has felt like stepping into a new universe where I am more deeply connected to my mother, the women in my lineage, and all women throughout time.

There are multiple ways to ship large works of art. Anything over a certain dimension must be freight forwarded and specially crated. Removing the canvas from its stretcher bars, shipping the painting rolled in a protective tube, and then having the piece re-stretched at a frame shop upon arrival can be more affordable overall than shipping the painting stretched. In-studio pickup (Clam Gulch, Alaska) is always welcome!
