REMEMBER - A 48x24-inch acrylic original on canvas to remind us of our true natures.
Inspiration for this piece came during a guided meditation with my incredible counselor. Closing my eyes, I vividly saw an older, wiser version of myself rocking my current self underwater. In impeccable comic relief, my inner child swam up in a duck floatie and handed me a glowing turquoise iris. "Remember who you are," she said as she smiled. I could tell she was excited to see what I would paint. She carried none of my adult baggage: no imposter syndrome, no doubts, no harsh inner critic, only admiration and playfulness.
Remember invites the viewer to live bravely into their authentic self.
